(01)I am Nora
Always Curious.
Always Becoming.
I’m a developer, researcher, and lifelong learner working at the intersection of technology, creativity, and problem-solving. My path has always been shaped by the same idea:
“Keep moving and make things better.”

Inspiration
Create or Hate: Successful People Make Things
In Create or Hate, Dan Norris describes a shadow that follows him, draining the color from everything he creates. He calls that force Hate — the doubt, fear, and negativity that grow stronger when we stop creating. That image stayed with me. For me, creating is a way of keeping life in color: learning something new, building something meaningful, solving a problem, or simply making something better than it was yesterday.
(03) My Journey
Five chapters,
one direction.
Where I Come From

From a land where the desert
meets the sea.
I was born on March 10, 1985, in a part of the world shaped by desert, sun, wind, sea, and wide-open horizons. It is a place of contrasts — harsh landscapes and rich traditions, simplicity and color, silence and stories carried through generations.
Growing up there shaped the way I see the world. It taught me to notice beauty in simple things: a pattern, a handmade object, the colors of the desert, or the way sunlight can completely change a landscape.
My life has taken me far from where it began, through different places, careers, challenges, and new beginnings. But I still carry something from that landscape with me: resilience, curiosity, and the instinct to keep moving forward.
Curiosity Came First

Before code, there were
numbers, shapes, and colors.
Long before I became a developer, I was fascinated by mathematics, geometry and drawing. Mathematics taught me to find answers, geometry showed me how logic could become visual, and drawing gave me the freedom to imagine and create.
Looking back, I see they were all teaching me the same thing: to recognize patterns, understand relationships, and turn ideas into something tangible. I was also always trying to improve things around me — organizing, fixing, and wondering whether something could work better.
That question stayed with me:
Can I make this better?
How I Found Code

Logic became something
I could create with.
My first encounter with programming came at school through algorithms and flowcharts. I was fascinated by how a complex problem could be broken into smaller steps and gradually turned into a solution.
Programming brought together the logic I loved in mathematics, the structure of geometry, and the creativity of art. That curiosity led me to study Software Engineering.
My professional journey began with teaching computer skills, programming, graphics, and later web-related subjects. Teaching shaped the way I learn: understand, use, explain — and learn again.
Eventually, I moved from teaching technology to building with it, increasingly focusing on the web.
Where I Am Today

Building for the web.
Exploring what comes next.
Today, I’m a Senior WordPress and Front-End Developer at OWDT, working on large-scale digital projects — from custom WordPress architecture and reusable systems to interactive experiences, performance, SEO, and motion.
My role goes beyond writing code. I lead developers, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate across teams to build digital products that are useful, maintainable, and built to last.
At the same time, I returned to academia to study Artificial Intelligence, exploring deep learning, medical imaging, and semi-supervised learning.
Today, those two worlds are beginning to connect. AI is changing not only what I can build, but how I think about building it.
I still write code. I still learn every day. And I still ask:
Can I make this better?
What Comes Next

Building differently
for what comes next.
I see AI not as a replacement for the skills I’ve built, but as a new layer that is changing how I research, design, develop, automate, and solve problems.
I’m bringing AI into my everyday work — improving development workflows, exploring intelligent WordPress experiences, automating repetitive processes, and experimenting with AI-assisted tools.
At the same time, I continue exploring new approaches to front-end engineering, WordPress architecture, animation, accessibility, and performance. I’m not interested in adopting technology simply because it is new, but in understanding how it can genuinely make the work better.
For me, the future is about combining human experience with artificial intelligence — using years of technical knowledge, judgment, creativity, and curiosity alongside increasingly capable tools.
Technology will keep changing. So will the way I work.
And that is exactly what keeps me curious.
